ONE LAST THING
Frequently Asked Questions
Will I need any special glues / adhesive to work with these specialty papers?
No. While it can be fun to experiment with a variety of adhesive products including traditional rice paste, for most projects people tend to choose some variant from the PVA (polyvinyl acetate) options - otherwise known as white glues. They are inexpensive, come in different strengths, dilute readily, clean up easily and dry transparent.
Do you have a retail shop or showroom?
We have an online retail shop where you can find many of our papers in smaller sized sheets for making cards, scrapbooking, collage, jewellery, papier mache and mixed media. Our home studio-based showroom is closed during COVID. During this time we are using email, texting and photo exchange to work together with customers who need full sheets.
Is there any way to know if I can do my project idea on my own or if I need to bring it to you?
Many people have all the skills they need to take on a new paper-based project. But if you're trying something different and are not sure about it, you are welcome to contact us with your questions. A good example is recovering existing lampshades - the most difficult ones look deceptively easy and vice versa.
Do you offer any group classes or workshops online through your website or via ZOOM?
Currently we do not have any group classes or workshops planned. However in future we plan to add more pages to this website with instructional videos and education sheets so check back. Contact us directly to discuss the possibility of an individual custom class. Subject to COVID safety restrictions.
